The studio room mixes threes and fours, so a child usually stays with the same teachers for two years.

Sample programs.

Every day

Three parts of a morning

  • Atelier time

Children choose a material and work at it for as long as they are interested: clay, paper, paint, wire, light and things found outside.

  • Project time

A group of children returns to the same question over several weeks, with a teacher who listens, photographs and writes down what children say.

  • Outside

A long stretch in the yard every day, for digging, building and looking, in the weather the day brings.

See a room in the morning

Programs read well on a page. A tour shows how a morning moves between the atelier, the table and the yard.
